Located below the Red Rock Dam on the north side of the Des Moines River, the area has access to trails, including Howell Station Prairie Trail and Volksweg Trail, an amphitheater, a boat ramp below the dam, a fish cleaning station, a playground, shower facilities, and 131 campsites. Open year-round.
